About Clayton Road Traders Association

The Clayton Road Traders Association is an initiative of local business operators to support the growth, and development of Clayton Road. It is a volunteer organisation representing traders and businesses in Clayton.

Their mission is to support the interests of their members, develop marketing initiatives, and also also represent the traders to Council and relevant bodies.

Some of the work the traders have done include development of major events and promotions for Clayton, grant funding for street improvements all the way to lobbying for legislative changes.

The Clayton Traders was previously funded through a “Special Levy” collected from Council Rates over businesses in Clayton Road. This special levy is currently under renewal for future funding. For more information about the Clayton Traders Association, please email [email protected]
